Privacy Policy

Feedline is a Shopify app operated by ULTRA SMOOTH STUDIO SRL (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Romania. This policy explains what information Feedline handles when a merchant installs it on a Shopify store, why, and what rights merchants have.
What we collect
When you install Feedline we receive and store, for your store only:
- Your store's myshopify.com domain, its name, currency and public web address, and an API access token issued by Shopify so the app can read your catalogue.
- The feed settings you choose in the app.
- The generated feed files: product and variant titles, descriptions, image addresses, prices, stock status, options, tags, collection handles and SKUs or barcodes, exactly as they are public on your online store.
- A short history of feed builds (time, counts, errors) and basic technical logs needed to run and support the service.
We do not collect or store customer data. Feedline never reads customer names, emails, addresses, orders or payment details. It only reads products.
Why we use it
- To generate product feeds for Google Merchant Center and Meta Commerce Manager at the addresses shown in the app, and to refresh them on a schedule.
- To show you the state of your feeds and data-quality notes inside the app, and to support you if something goes wrong.
Feed files are served at secret addresses that you give to Google or Meta. Those companies then process the product data under their own terms. We do not sell, rent or share store data with anyone else, and we do not use it for our own advertising.
Where it is stored
Feedline runs on servers rented from Vultr (The Constant Company, LLC). Data is transferred from Shopify to those servers over encrypted connections and stored with access restricted to the operator. Shopify itself remains the system of record for your products.
How long we keep it
- While Feedline is installed: the current feed files and 30 days of build history.
- When you uninstall Feedline: your access token, settings and feed files are deleted immediately. Shopify then sends a shop-redaction request 48 hours after uninstall, on which we delete any remaining record for your store.
- Technical logs are kept for at most 30 days.
Shopify privacy webhooks
Feedline implements Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. Because we hold no customer data, customers/data_request and customers/redact return nothing to redact. shop/redactdeletes every record associated with the store.
Your rights
Merchants in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and other jurisdictions with data protection laws may ask us to access, correct, export or delete the data we hold about their store. Uninstalling the app achieves deletion automatically; for anything else, email us and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We will update this page when the policy changes and note the date at the top. Material changes are also announced inside the app.
